Operator Training

Trained Crews
Cut Better Parts.

Hands-on training on your machine, on your material, on your floor — included when we commission the laser, and available again whenever you hire. The fastest way to protect a capital purchase is to teach the people running it.

Our Approach

Taught On Your
Parts, Not a Demo

Classroom slides do not teach anyone to run a laser. Our training happens at the machine with your operators, cutting the jobs you actually quote, in the materials you actually buy. By the end of the visit the crew has produced real parts and knows why the parameters are what they are.

Delivered at your facility on your installed machine

Run on your materials, thicknesses, and typical part geometry

Covers daily operation, maintenance, and safe practice

Sized to your crew — operators, programmers, and maintenance

Documentation left behind for reference and future hires

Training Tracks

Three Roles,
Three Curricula

Session length and depth are scoped to your machine, crew size, and experience level — confirmed with you before the visit.

Machine Operator

Safe start-up and shutdown, loading and material handling, running a job, reading the control, changing consumables, recognising cut-quality problems, and daily maintenance routine.

The core session

Programming & Nesting

Importing geometry, nesting for yield, lead-in and lead-out strategy, common-line cutting, micro-joints and tabbing, and applying and saving cut parameters for your material mix.

For the person quoting and programming

Maintenance & First-Line Fault Finding

The maintenance schedule in practice, optics handling and cleaning, calibration checks, chiller and gas system care, interpreting alarm codes, and what to have ready before calling support.

For your maintenance lead

Turnover Happens

Your Best Operator
Will Eventually Leave.

When the person who knew the machine moves on, shops lose cut quality, consumable life, and confidence — usually all at once. Refresher and new-hire training is available at any point in the machine's life, not just in the first month.

Outcomes

What Your Crew
Walks Away With

Not a certificate on the wall — competence at the control.

Confident Daily Operation

Start-up, job set-up, running, and shutdown performed correctly and repeatably without needing to call anyone.

Cut-Quality Diagnosis

Reading dross, striation, burr, and edge squareness — and knowing which of gas, focus, speed, or consumable is responsible.

Consumable Discipline

Recognising a worn nozzle or damaged protective window before it wrecks a batch of parts or the optics behind it.

Safe Practice

Laser safety awareness, interlock and E-stop function, fume and extraction handling, and safe material and scrap handling.

Maintenance Habit

The per-shift and weekly routine understood and actually adopted — the single biggest driver of long-term uptime.

A Support Relationship

They have met the technicians, know what information to gather, and know exactly who to call when something is genuinely wrong.

Scheduling

Booking a Session

Training that comes with the machine is scheduled as part of commissioning. Additional sessions are arranged directly.

1. Get In Touch

Call or email with your machine model, serial number, how many people need training, and which tracks you want covered.

2. Scope & Schedule

We agree to the content, the length of the visit, and a date that fits around your production schedule rather than fighting it.

3. Prepare Material

We tell you what to have ready — representative material, a couple of real jobs, and the crew freed up from other work.

4. Train & Follow Up

Hands-on session at the machine, reference documentation left with the team, and a direct line for the questions that surface a week later.
