How to Choose
You do not need to know wattage to start this conversation. Answer these and the lineup narrows to one or two machines.
Flat sheet and plate points at the sheet lasers. Tube, pipe, angle, and structural profile points at the tube laser. Assemblies and repair work point at handheld.
Bed size is the one thing you cannot change later. Buy for the largest sheet you actually run, not the average one.
Thickness and duty cycle set the wattage. Running thick plate all shift is a different machine than occasional heavy work.
If loading and unloading is the constraint, an exchange table or auto-loading buys you more capacity than raw wattage will.
