Service & Maintenance

Fix It Fast.
Or Prevent It.

Remote diagnostics that solve most faults on the first call, field service when the machine needs hands on it, and preventive maintenance that stops the failure from happening in the first place.

What Service Covers

The Whole Machine,
Not Just the Laser

A fiber laser is a laser source, a cutting head, a motion system, a chiller, a gas train, an extraction system, and a control — and any one of them can put the machine down. Our technicians support the complete installation rather than pointing at whichever subsystem was not sold by us.

Laser source and fiber delivery diagnostics

Cutting head service — optics, nozzle alignment, focus calibration

Motion system: axis calibration, drives, rails, and lubrication

Chiller, gas delivery, and extraction troubleshooting

Control system, alarm-code interpretation, and parameter recovery

Cut-quality tuning against your specific materials

Maintenance Programs

Three Ways
To Be Covered

Coverage options are built around how hard you run the machine. Scope, visit frequency, and pricing are confirmed in writing before anything starts.

Standard Support

Included with every machine. Phone and email access to US-based technicians during business hours, remote diagnostics, parts ordering, and warranty administration for your coverage period.

Included with purchase

Preventive Maintenance

Scheduled on-site visits on an agreed interval — typically annual or semi-annual depending on duty cycle. Optics inspection, axis calibration, chiller and gas service, wear-part review, and a written condition report.

Scheduled visits, agreed interval

Priority Coverage

For shops where the laser is the bottleneck. Adds priority scheduling for field service dispatch and can be paired with an on-site spares kit so common wear items are already on your shelf.

For single-machine production floors

Program availability, visit frequency, response targets, and pricing depend on your machine, configuration, duty cycle, and location. Ask us to quote coverage for your specific installation.

Root Cause, Not Band-Aid

We'd Rather Fix It
Once Than Visit Twice.

Recurring dross, wandering focus, or a nozzle that keeps crashing is almost never bad luck. Our technicians log root cause on every call so the pattern gets addressed — a gas purity problem, a fixturing habit, an assist-pressure parameter — instead of consuming another set of consumables every month.

Owner Maintenance

What Your Crew
Should Be Doing

Most laser reliability is decided by routine housekeeping. Your machine's manual sets the authoritative schedule — this is the general shape of it.

Each Shift

Inspect the protective window and nozzle for spatter, check assist-gas pressure, clear slats and the scrap drawer, and confirm the chiller is at temperature.

Weekly

Clean the cutting head exterior and bellows, blow out the cabinet filters, check rail and rack cleanliness, and inspect the slat condition for cut-through.

Monthly

Lubricate the motion system per the manual, verify axis squareness with a test cut, inspect chiller coolant level and quality, and review consumable wear rates.

Quarterly

Deep-clean the extraction system, service filters, inspect gas lines and regulators for leaks, and check that safety interlocks and E-stops still function.

Annually

Full preventive maintenance visit: optics inspection, calibration verification, chiller service, electrical inspection, and a documented condition report.

As Needed

Replace nozzles, protective windows, and ceramic rings on wear — not on a calendar. Cut quality degrading before end-of-shift is the usual tell.

Always follow the maintenance schedule in your machine's documentation. Intervals vary by model, laser power, duty cycle, material mix, and shop environment.

Faster Resolution

Have This Ready
When You Call

Two minutes of preparation regularly turns a dispatch into a phone fix.

Machine & serialModel name and the serial number from the machine's data plate.
Alarm codesThe exact code and message on the control — a photo of the screen is ideal.
What changedNew material, new supplier, new gas bottle, new operator, recent maintenance, a crash. Something almost always changed.
Material & thicknessAlloy, gauge, and surface condition of the part that is failing to cut.
Consumable ageHow long the current nozzle and protective window have been in service.
A sample partPhotos of the cut edge — top, bottom, and the dross — tell a technician a great deal.
Gas & chillerAssist-gas type and pressure at the machine, and the chiller's current temperature and any of its own alarms.
