A flatbed fiber laser is the most versatile machine most fabricators will ever buy. It takes a sheet or plate off the rack and returns finished, burr-light parts — no tooling, no die changes, no waiting on an outside vendor to fit you into their queue.

How to Choose

Four Questions
Pick the Machine

Bed size, guarding, table type, and power do most of the deciding. Answer these and the shortlist writes itself.

1. How Big Is Your Stock?

If everything you buy is 5' × 10', a 3.0m × 1.5m bed is the right machine. Once you're regularly ordering oversize plate or nesting long parts, step up to a 6m or 8m format instead of splitting parts across sheets.

2. Open Frame or Enclosed?

An open, light-curtain-guarded platform loads fast and costs less floor prep. A full enclosure contains fume and reflection, quiets the cell, and is usually the easier answer when the laser sits near people all shift.

3. One Table or Two?

A single table is simple and cheap to run. An exchange table lets an operator unload finished parts and reload raw stock while the beam keeps cutting — the single biggest uptime gain on a busy machine.

4. Thin Sheet or Thick Plate?

Lower power rips through thin gauge all day. Higher power is what buys you thick-plate capability and faster pierces. We spec the source to the thickest material you actually run — not a brochure maximum.

What About Automation?

Our enclosed platforms are built to accept load/unload automation later. Buying the machine now doesn't lock you out of a tower or shuttle system when volume justifies it.
